Dear NCR Retail Online Merchant –As you know, NCR Retail Online authorizes credit card transactions using NCR Secure Pay, NCR’s newest electronic payment processing gateway. In order to use NCR Secure Pay, each merchant registered for an account at www.counterpointpos.com and provided payment information at that time.
You have likely noticed that you have not been charged any NCR Secure Pay fees for those transactions processed via NCR Secure Pay, to date. NCR has been fleshing out our internal billing systems and operations to ensure that the billing experience for NCR Secure Pay is largely equivalent to our NCR Counterpoint Gateway billing experience.
We have completed our internal efforts, and the purpose of this note is to inform you that charges for NCR Secure Pay began to accrue on June 1st, 2013. The first NCR Secure Pay invoices will be sent at the beginning of July. We will not include back charges for any transactions prior to June 1st, 2013. Rather, we will only bill for transactions going forward from June 1st.
As a reminder, the fees associated with NCR Secure Pay processing can be found here: http://www.ncrretailonline.
For those NCR Retail Online merchants who are not using NCR Secure Pay for electronic payment processing and have not signed up for NCR Secure Pay, no fee will be invoiced, of course. For those NCR Retail Online merchants using NCR Counterpoint POS with NCR Counterpoint Gateway in your brick-and-mortar location, the NCR Secure Pay invoice will be additional to the NCR Counterpoint Gateway invoice that you receive today. When your NCR Counterpoint site begins using NCR Secure Pay instead of NCR Counterpoint Gateway, you will receive a single NCR Secure Pay invoice, and will no longer receive an NCR Counterpoint Gateway invoice.
