Microsoft Dynamics RMS and HQ Support for 2021 and Beyond

The calls have started coming in from retailers regarding Microsoft Dynamics RMS Partners setting cut-off dates for ending support on the Microsoft Dynamics RMS and HQ point of sale software programs earlier than the official Microsoft end dates of July 2020 and July 2021.

If you wish to keep using Microsoft RMS and are in need of a new Microsoft Dynamics RMS Partner, then RITE is ready to help! Some reasons to consider RITE:

  • 24/7 support
  • One of the largest Microsoft Dynamics RMS and HQ Partners in the US
  • Team of support technicians
  • Many of us have worked with RMS and HQ back to the days when it was QuickSell 2000 and QuickSell HQ from SMS in California
  • RITE has written numerous plug-ins and add-ons for RMS over the years
  • Discounted support packages are available which can lower the hourly rate for RMS support to under $100/hour
  • Card Defender EMV/Chip Card system for Microsoft RMS, HQ, Retail Management Hero, and Cloud Retailer
  • Significant discounts for RMS users wanting to migrate to Retail Management Hero or Cloud Retailer
  • Commitment to support the Microsoft Dynamics RMS and HQ user base
I have a bunch of resources that I can send you but the first step is a quick discussion over the phone to see what you may need and how RITE can help. You can reach me at kevinantosh@gmail.com or 208-340-5632 for more information. If you would prefer to contact me via RITE, then use kevina@rite.us or 208-994-9404.

Review of RITE in St. Cloud Minnesota

One of my main reasons for joining the team at RITE in Sartell/St Cloud, MN was the companies reputation as a retail point of sale dealer/VAR/partner/reseller.  Not only did I meet with the companies leadership twice but I also spoke with some of their customers as well as some of their competators.

No one had any complaints about RITE or the retail point of sale solutions offered by RITE which made me comfortable in adding my name to RITE's roster of point of sale experts.

Are you  in the US and in need of no cost retail point of sale advice?  I'm happy to help and can be reached on my cell at 208-340-5632 (I am on Mountain Time) or via email at kevinantosh@gmail.com. There is also a contact form to the right that can be used to reach me.

More Information on Retail Management Hero Point of Sale (Microsoft Dynamics RMS/POS 2009 Replacement)

Update July 2016, Retail Management Hero demo and overview: http://retailpospondering.blogspot.com/2016/07/new-version-of-rmsretail-management.html

Wow - so much to share regarding the June 14th, 2016 release of the Retail Management Hero (RMH) point of sale software as a replacement for Microsoft Dynamics RMS and Microsoft POS 2009 point of sale software programs!

I'll be creating more detailed blog posts, reviews, overviews, and videos over the next 2 weeks but here are some bullet points:
  • Release date is June 14th, 2016
  • Easy and very low cost migration from RMS/POS 2009 to RMH (pricing starts at $215.00/computer + labor)
  • RMS/POS 2009 users can keep their existing equipment in most situations
  • RMS users can keep their histiorical data
  • EMV processing out of the box (very limited will be expanded by Q3 2017)
  • Built in customer loyalty program (limited - with add-ons available as well)
  • RMH has nearly all of the features and functions that RMS offered...and much more like emailing receipts and matrix purchase order creation for apparel stores
  • Adaptable to all types of retail stores - even stores with heavy service/labor offerings
  • Fills the niche for stores whose volume or number of locations does not justify investing in Retail Pro, NCR CounterPoint, or similar point of sale software programs
  • Offers the reliability, speed, up-time, and features/functions than many of the cloud based POS systems can't touch (like Clover, Silver, Vend. Shopkeep, etc)
Stay tuned for more details as I will be offering sales and support for the following point of sale programs effective immediately (US - all locations):
  • Microsoft Dynamics RMS and RMS HQ (support only - sales to existing users only)
  • Microsoft Dynamics POS 2009 (support only)
  • Retail Management Hero versions 3 and 3.1 (starting June 14th, 2016)
  • Cloud Retailer POS
  • Retail Realm Essentials POS
Many more details to follow.

Any POS Partners/Dealers/VAR's Interested in the Idaho, Utah, E Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, or E Washington State Retail Markets?

Update September 14th, 2016 - I have signed on with a retail point of sale company that can provide onsite service. In fact, I have already been contacted by over 50 businesses in the areas mentioned below!  For retail point of sale service and support, I can be reached at 208-340-5632 or kevinantosh@gmail.com.

As businesses and organizations continue to contact me about EMV, replacing older computer-based point of sale systems, or acquiring their first point of sale system, many have expressed that they want to work with a local company that specializes in retail point of sale systems.

I've noticed a continued trend with plenty of local companies offering point of sale systems for food service businesses, but there seems to be a lack of local retail point of sale providers. While there is no shortage of companies that sell solutions online, there are still business owners that want to support the local economy as well as receive some "hand holding" when it comes to installation, training, and on-going support.

If your business offers complete retail point of sale solutions, and would like to have a local presence in the following areas, please get in touch with me. If your business is already established in one of these locales, please let me know so we can chat more I can get the word out via email, phone, and social media. Each of these markets has folks with retail stores and museums actively searching for new or upgraded point of sale systems.

Here are the locales:
  • All of Idaho
  • All of Utah
  • All of Montana
  • Western Wyoming
  • Eastern Oregon
  • Eastern Washington State
Visit my contact page for information on how to reach me.

Point of Sale Buying Tip: Purchase Options and Vendor Selection

I've started recording some excerpts from the point of sale workshop presentations that I conduct at retail and museum trade shows, conferences, and expos as well at small business development/success centers across the US.

This excerpt covers some of the payment options available as well as what to look for when selecting the company the you will purchase your point of sale systems from (including several "gotchas" or things to avoid).

Can I help?  Over the last 15 years I have worked with thousands of retail stores, museums, and government entities to help them find the best point of sale solution. You can reach me at kevinantosh@gmail.com or on my cell at 208-340-5632

Looking to Expand Your Point of Sale Business?

A quick note to any point of sale partners/var's/dealers that might be looking to expand. I do have a list of ~3800 contacts with the majority of them being located in the states of Idaho, Utah, Montana, Oregon and Washington.  If you are thinking of expanding in to any of these markets with a true local presence for support and sales, please contact me at kevinantosh@gmail.com so was can set up a time to talk more.

I know that a lot of these contacts would enjoy having a local source for point of sale solutions!

Please note that I am not able to provide you with the contact list itself as these are clients and customers who are used to personal contact and do not want to end up on a telemarketing list.
