NCR Silver is not in the same ballpark to the features and functions you have access to in Clover. They just released the Mobile and Mini. I wish First Data would go public, it's the most robust option for Small/Medium sized operations. I like that LEAF is still committed to letting users 'pick and choose' merchant services companies even with the investment from Heartland (I know some of the folks that work at Heartland personally).

I looked through LEAF's website and it isn't very clear what LEAF can and can't do (ie: barcode label printing, purchasing & revieving, split tenders, etc). If I get time, I'll see if LEAF would be will to set up a demo for me to I can write a review and talk to some users.

One thing that has come up at my speaking engagements is the functionality and feature differences between the original tablet POS systems like Clover and Silver (which are more like cash registers) versus newer tablet POS systems like Bindo (which are more like true point of sale systems).

I guess that you could call it tablet POS 1.0 versus tablet 2.0 or mobile POS 1.0 versus mobile POS 2.0!

Hopefully this is not another Shopkeep situation as Shopkeep had a $10M investment some time ago yet I can't find anyone using Shopkeep, no valid Shopkeep reviews, and only 2 out of my 3800 contacts have even asked about Shopkeep. Maybe Shopkeep can help me out here too!Kevinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10683924777357704311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042592027541001927.post-37353819142902572002014-04-24T09:23:25.707-06:002014-04-24T09:23:25.707-06:00What are your thoughts about the LEAF Heartland in...What are your thoughts about the LEAF Heartland invested into? All of them mentioned Clover, NCR Silver, and Bindo as options. Clover was eliminated pretty quickly due to high credit card processing fees as well as Clover being more of a cash register than a true point of sale system. I'm not sure what type of store you have so let me know if I can help further.Kevinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10683924777357704311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042592027541001927.post-16386058066157763712014-04-15T18:13:12.437-06:002014-04-15T18:13:12.437-06:00What kind of business do you have and what type of...What kind of business do you have and what type of feedback would you give?Dereknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042592027541001927.post-42351525303335834092014-03-08T12:23:27.072-07:002014-03-08T12:23:27.072-07:00You can get CLOVER now at cloverpossales.com.
